Fahrrad-und trinken Bier
is roughly German for "bicycle and drink beer" which I feel go together. Actually this started out of requests for an addition to our Rib Ride in the spring. Since we tend to link cycling and beer, Oktoberfest was the logical choice.
The ride is only 25 miles round trip but the real challenge is at the halfway point when we stop for ribs and beer. We ride the Fox River Trail which is a paved bike path and keep the average around 12-14mph. Kids are welcome.
